We are proud to announce that some of the images created by 360sa have been added into Google Earth (the free interactive global map provided by Google Inc.). To view the images. just turn on the 360cities layer (under gallery) inside the Google Earth application.

This is very exciting for us, as 360sa has also been accepted as the first official panoramic photographer reseller of 360cities in South Africa, an international company who hosts only the highest quality 360 degree virtual tours of the world.
Google Earth is very widely distributed, and has been downloaded over 2 million times. It allows users to zoom in to just about any location in the world, and view a satilite image of that area. Interactive tags are also available for more information, pictures, and now also 360 degree virtual tours.
Pole Aerial Photography
Its amazing how different, and attractive, a higher perspective can be. Now with a 4.85 meter high pole, 360sa can create virtual tours with an elevated perspective. Have a look at the samples below to see how this enhances the final product. A wireless remote shutter system is used to trigger the images which are captured in series to later be merged into a single 360 degree image. We recently created this example at the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria using the nearly 5 meter high pole system. Notice how high the perspective feels in the images captured by the elevated pole photography, which better portrays the surrounding area in more detail. Pole Aerial Photography We now offer both 360 degree images on the elevated pole, and normal still images from the elevated pole.
